This integrative model of Counselling is trauma informed and incorporates Gestalt, Somatic Experience, Mindfulness, Client Centred Play Therapy, Sand Tray and Expressive Therapies to unite the brain, mind and body, for a balanced and authentic healthy self.
Joanne is passionate about helping people develop awareness and connection to their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, so that processes can be gently observed and worked through at a pace that works best for the individual. Joanne believes that you are the expert in your own life and mainly works in a non-directive manner but uses a more directive approach when required. Along with her integrative toolbox of skills, techniques, and strategies, she finds that a trusting therapeutic relationship quickly unfolds, allowing people to gently work through their challenges and concerns.
