Registered Supervisors can participate in any of the sessions to claim professional development points.

Course / Workshop Outline:

DAY THREE Supervisory Relationship – Establishing and maintaining a healthy fit

This workshop will consider transference and the parallel process in both individual and group supervision and will explore ways in which this experience can bring fresh insights and enliven the work. Considering real case studies and using the group experience, participants will have opportunity to experience a parallel process and gain fresh insights into their practice.

Getting the ‘right fit’ between supervisee and supervisor is as important as finding the right fit between therapist and client. As with therapy, the relationship is paramount and requires our ongoing and careful attention.
