Title: Rebuilding Relationships (Korean)

Objective of Course / Workshop:

Rebuilding Relationships provides in-depth training in couple therapy and other relationships. The course is suitable for Korean-speaking, registered counsellors.

The course will impart ideas and skills required to transform their individual  therapeutic skills into couples therapy skills. The course will guide consellors in the therapy of couples within today's culturally diverse contexts. 

Course / Workshop Outline:

Day 1

Date: 4th February 

Time: 10:00 - 17:00 (1 hour break for lunch)

Topics covered: Basic relational princples, effective conversation

Day 2

Date: 5th February

Time: 10:00 - 17:00 (1 hour break for lunch)

Topics covered: Family development, conflict resolution, developing relational skills

Day 3

Date: 6th February

Time: 13:00 - 17:00 (1 hour break for lunch)

Session: Group therapy

Course / Workshop content:

Theory and Practice Seminars

Days 1 & 2 of this workshop will focus on various theories within couples counselling. A designated Q&A time and discussion time will be provided at the end of each day.

Therapeutic Workshop

On Day 3, participants will form groups and Group Therapy will be led by the two presenters.

Experience:

Prof Nam is a Professor of Counselling at Soon Chun Hyang University in South Korea. 

Prof Jung is a Professor of Counselling Psychology at Daejeon University in South Korea. 

Both presenters are board members of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Association of Korea and provide extensive professional supervision for registered counsellors in South Korea. 

Both presenters have extensive experience in presenting workshops, lectures and presentations the field of Counselling and Counselling Psychology to a range of national and international audiences.
