This one-day workshop is designed to introduce Eagala Model equine-assisted psychotherapy and how the Eagala Model facilitates interventions for psychotherapy and personal development through working experientially with horses.

Course / Workshop Outline:
  • Understand the theoretical foundation of the Eagala Model and the four unique Eagala Model standards
  • Learn why horses are a valuable part of theprofessional team and how they help facilitatethe process
  • Demonstrate, through experiential activities withthe horses, how clean observation is used infacilitation
  • Understand the Eagala Model Code of Ethics andhow it upholds the Eagala standard ofprofessionalism
  • Understand the Eagala Model certificationprocess
  • Develop self-awareness through experiential timespent with the horses
