I am a mother, partner, sister, daughter, friend, woman... like you, multi-faceted. My background in the performing arts has given me an appreciation of the incredible diversity in perspectives and choices we make as individuals, the power of communication, both verbal and non-verbal, and to truly value the human spirit. I am an experienced professional counsellor seeing both individual clients and couples. I have a Bachelor of Counselling degree, and am also a Qualified Supervisor. I have worked as a Primary Therapist at South Pacific Private Hospital treating clients and families impacted by trauma, addiction, co-dependence and relational issues. I am a warm, empathetic and non-judgmental counsellor, and utilise various modalities, depending on your specific needs, including strength-based, person-centred, narrative, attachment-based and solution-focused therapies, among others. The counsellor-client relationship is a central part of the healing process.
