Samantha worked in the banking and telecommunication industries for over 25 years where she developed a passion for face to face customer service. Samantha discovered she had a heart for people in extra need, those clients who needed help coping with day to day life and for those who suffer the anxiety and depression of life. Since then Samantha has completed studies to become a qualified professional Counsellor, Results Coach, and Relationship Counsellor and continues to study to keep in touch with the latest developments including regular courses with the Mental Health Academy.

Samantha strongly believes that a healthy mind leads to a healthy body and that there is great value in the therapeutic relationship between a counsellor and their client.

Samantha uses evidence based and solution-focused methods to help you achieve positive outcomes.

Samantha will work together with you to find an approach that works just for you.

Samantha is very happy to see you face to face but also believes video counselling over the internet (by Skype and other software) and phone counselling are great alternatives. These options suit those who are geographically challenged or time-poor, those who can’t get time off work who can’t get babysitters, or just can’t leave the house. These alternatives provide access to counselling and help when you need it the most and from the comfort of your own home or office.

Samantha is a member of the ACA (Australian Counselling Association) to which she is held accountable for ongoing education, mentoring, and supervision as well as seeing her own therapist for self-care so she knows what it’s like to sit on the other side of the desk. 

Samantha has personal experience in some of life's big struggles and has helped many others in their personal challenges, she would be very happy to hear from you whatever age or stage in life you are in.
