Dr Yi-Chun Lin, PhD, Licensed Counseling Psychologist (Taiwan)
Bio and Qualifications:
Dr. Yi-Chun Lin is currently an Assistant Professor of Educational Psychology and Counseling program in the School of Education at Tamkang University in Taiwan. She is also co-hired by the Center of Teacher Education program in responsible to teacher counselling and school guidance related courses. Dr. Lin earned her Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of Iowa (USA), and her M.A. in Education at National Cheng Kung University (Taiwan). Dr. Lin is a licensed middle school counsellor and counselling psychologist in Taiwan, her specialty includes adolescent psychology, school counselling and gender studies. She likes to integrate teaching and service learning into practice and has collaborated with many k-12 schools to develop education and counselling programs for preventive purpose. She is also a consultant for two university volunteer groups and supervisor for pre-service teachers. She has presented in conferences global wide, including annual conferences of American Counseling Association (ACA), Association of Counselor Educators and Supervisors (ACES), New Directions in Multidisciplinary Research & Practice (NDMRP) in Istanbul (Turkey), and Taiwanese Counseling and Guidance Association.
