Bio and Qualifications:
Currently, Lizzy works as a staff counsellor and educator on site at MACS –Multicultural Aged Care Services Inc. where there are 63 different cultures. She is part of the Elder Rights Committee at MACS: an innovative measure that looks to build on existing safe work practices in a multicultural aged care setting whilst supporting staff and volunteers. She has also developed and delivered a wide range of CALD accessible education programs for staff and volunteers at MACS. These include an ongoing training and debrief program for palliative carers working in home services – the only team of its kind in Victoria, funded by Geelong Hospice Foundation.
