Dr. Christine Gazago
Bio and Qualifications:
Dr Gazago received her doctorate in research on perception and cognition and possible neurological correlates in Autistic children and non-Autistic children.She published a number of journal articles on Autistic and non-Autistic children including a case study of two severely Autistic children with amazing "spontaneous recoveries", which was published in the Archives of General Psychiatry. After spending a post-doctoral year at the Medical Research Council's Unit of Child Psychology in London, Dr.Gazago took up private practice primarily focusing on children with Learning Disabilities and Autism and children and families involved in cases of suspected or alleged chilthid abuse. She practised in a forensic capacity, with child abuse cases mainly in the Family Court. Dr Gazago's therapeutic approach was eclectic but evolved into her version of Lego Therapy, which was highly successful in the clinical setting. Dr Gazago occasionally mentors and consults but has retired to write her first novel.
