Bio and Qualifications:

In 2017 I was awarded the ACA’s Outstanding Student Certificate of Excellence for my Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Jansen Newman Institute. The focus of my Masters research was food choice made by those in recovery from bulimia nervosa.

I am a psychotherapist (currently non-practising) specialising in addiction and eating disorders and I am also in recovery for bulimia nervosa.

At this time, I am in my final year of a PhD in Health at Torrens University Australia. My research focus is the father-daughter relationship and its impact on the development of bulimia nervosa.

My personal, professional and academic experience has afforded me a well-rounded and in-depth knowledge of the condition of bulimia nervosa and its challenges.
