In this 2-day workshop you will learn: Fundamentals of mental health. How to identify the signs and symptoms of mental health problems. How to help people in the early stages of mental health problems. An introduction to common mental illnesses such as anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse disorders, psychotic disorders (schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, etc) and more. Improve your knowledge, understanding and language of mental health. Know where and how to get help. Understand what types of help are effective - and which aren't. Reduce the stigma associated with mental illness. Plus much more. |
