Melissa works with clients who are seeking to become the best version of themselves by getting to the root of their current upset through breaking dysfunctional or multi-generational patterns, making brave life choices and building the skill-sets to handle the inevitable challenges of living today.

Melissa worked for 20 years as a pharmacist however, discovered a keen interest in proactively preventing  depression and anxiety through rigorous resilience skillset development early in life leading her to complete a Masters degree in Counselling in 2007.

She has been teaching children, teenagers and adults for 32 years (both resilience, life skills, leadership, public speaking and stage performance) and running a private counselling practice for children, adults and couples for the past 18 years.

Melissa is the Director of SHINE Leadership and Resilience Academy for Girls and LONGFORD & FRASER Leadership and Resilience Academy for Boys.

Melissa sees clients of all ages for one-on-one and family sessions in a mentoring/counselling context. Melissa is energetic, warm, friendly and nurturing. She is direct and frank and will challenge existing beliefs to uncover what mindsets are limiting you from being the best version of you. She has a unique ability to get to the root of a problem quickly. A flat fee is payable at the time of the session. Melissa does not watch the clock and your session finishes when both parties feel they have achieved something.

Due to current capacity new adult clients must come via referral from a current client. A waiting list applies for all children and adolescents.

Melissa is an NDIS Provider.
