Dr. Kamal Kothiyal is an experienced and qualified Professional Counsellor. Kamal has a Diploma in Counselling from the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors and is an accredited counsellor with Australian Counselling Association (ACA). Kamal believes in working collaboratively with individual clients to help them better understand their work and life goals. He integrates various counselling approaches to empower clients to deal with their emotional and behavioural issues so that they feel motivated to take effective steps to move on in all spheres of life. Dr. Kamal Kothiyal formerly worked as an academic lecturer at the University of New South Wales, Sydney where he did research and teaching in Human Factors/ Ergonomics and Occupational Health and Safety.

Kamal is involved in telephone counselling/support work with Lifeline Australia and Family Drug Support (FDS)
